   Varenna held onto Zaviens arm tightly, nuzzling into his bisep as they walked. She closed her eye's, and just let him lead her down the hall. She wasn't as afraid as she use to be. She remembered times when she couldn't even move because of how scared she was, and he had to carry her down the hallways.
   "Is Hanz the reason that you kept me hidden from the world?" Varenna asked gently, opening her eye's and looking up at him childishly. He looked down at her sadly, her eye's were so pretty. He nodded and looked away from her again. He opened the door to his room and gently lead her inside before shutting the door. The room smelled like Lilac, and after looking around, Varenna noticed that an insence was burning on the dresser. She tiptoed around the debris on the floor and crawled onto his bed. She scooted into the middle of the bed childishly and looked at him. He sighed and shut his door, locking it.
   "I was always worried that Hanz would find you, I was so happy to be with you, that I completely forgot about him. I never mentioned him before because I knew you would go looking for him."
   "Because you know I just love to piss you off, right?"
   "Exactly, love. I knew that he would hurt you."
   "You've hurt me too, Zavien."
   "I know, I know... I won't hurt you physically anymore, I just had to before or you were going to murder me." He said with a soft chuckle. Varenna only shut her eye's and shook her head slowly.
   "No, Zavien, that's not the worst pain that you've ever inflicted upon me. You've hurt me more then Varenkai, just not physical." She said gently.
   "How the hell did I hurt you that badly? Varenna? I never once verbally, or mentally abused you!"
   "You gave me away..." She whispered quietly, opening her eye's. They were filled with tears as she looked at him. After all she had been through, living with the breakers, and living in Zaviens room for about 3 years, the worst day of her life was when he gave her away. She felt like she had finally done something wrong, or had finally pushed him just a little too far. He said almost nothing to her that entire day. She was so desperate for attention from him, that she almost offered herself to him sexually that day. She thanked god that she was too stubborn to give herself to him. He just, came into the room one day, made her put on a cloak and then they left. They walked in complete, awkwerd silence for what seemed to be forever. Then they reached a small wodden building. He knocked on the door, and a woman answered. She was muscular, with long red hair and an eye patch. Zavien had pushed Varenna over to this woman, and then he finally spoke. He said 'Here, take her. I don't want her anymore.' And in an instant, he was gone. Leaving a poor little girl, all alone in a strange place, with strange people. That was the day she learned to be a vampire hunter.
   "Oh, darling..." Zavien said sadly as he sat down on the edge of the bed, placing a hand on her cheek gently. "I never knew how much that had hurt you. If I knew, I wouldn't have given you away, you know that I would never hurt you like that on purpose."
   "I know you didn't mean to... I just..."
   "You just what?"
   "I felt like I messed up, that the one being who has ever really loved me, didn't love me because I was a hand full."
   "I've delt with so much because of you, Varenna. I won't ever let you go, not even If I truely want to. I'm attached, and I'll never be able to become detached."
   "If that really is true, Zavien, can you do me a favor...?"
   "Sure, of course, aything for you, my dear."
   "Can I have a kiss...?"
