Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be blind? Could you imagine not knowing what colors are? To see only darkness is not a curse on people, but a gift. You can take the most beautiful girl in the world and take away her eye sight, but she doesn't become any less pretty. The world around her grows more beautiful with the darkness. She can no longer worry about apperences, or care what someone lookes like or what flaws they have. She can only see darkness, and it is simply blissful. On the other hand, it is a rare occasion that she does see a light in the darkness, a haze if you will. She can see those who are not natural. Natural is normally a word that varys, depending on who says it and how they mean it.
Not normal in this state of the world plainly means, not human. But she can tell what certain animals are by their shape, the most obvious for her are cats. Oh, how she loved cats, and they liked her too. Anyways, back to the colors. Everything that had a red color was mean, vicious, or had a bad temper. She learned very quickly to stay away from things with such a color. To this day she can still feel the scar on her arm. Orange was more of a subtle thing. Orange meant that the animal or being was greedy, selfish, or conceided. Those beings she could deal with, but she chose not to. Yellow means that the person is bright, happy, bubbly, talkative, and nice. She loved those beings, they always cared about her and helped her walk through the darkness. Her favorite had to be her dog, Charlie. She didn't know what kind of dog She was, only that she was always protecting her from the red beings. Next, she could see Green. Green meant that the being was very loving, and kind. Some small beings, and some large both shared that. She could still remember the giraffe at the zoo who had licked her face. Blue was a very odd color. It meant that the being was shy, self concious, and smart. A man had that haze around him. He sounded normal, but his haze meant that he wasn't even the least bit normal. Her soon to be favorite was white though. She had never met anyone, or anything with a white haze around it yet, because the white meant that the being was an angel. Yes, it sounds a bit strange, but these colors themselves are not exactly normal as others ee it either. The being with the white glow would save her, and try to give her sight any way they knew how. She could even see what they looked like, to know how they looked when they did things. The girl, Alexandra, was going to find her angel, but she won't like it at all. She never knew before, just how deceiving looks can be.
